Abstract

The aspiration of this Enabling Master’s Degree Final Project in Urban Planning (T) is centered on the urban regeneration of the Ciudad Meridiana housing polygon, one of the most vulnerable neighborhoods in Barcelona. It is hidden from the city by the Collserola mountain range, whose topography plays a key role in its design. The projects acquired at the end of the 2021-22 and 2022-23 courses will generate a broad analytical and proactive vision, outlining strategies that conform a constellation of projects, which together – and never individually - will be able to achieve the transformation of the neighborhood. Door, door Margin, margin is located on the margin between the Collserola mountain range and the neighborhood of Ciudad Meridiana; at the highest point, where the path that will connect with the system of roads and the Collserola Cemetery starts. The aim of the project is to ensure that the Ciudad Meridiana gateway to Collserola works in harmony with the neighborhood and the now abrupt margin is blurred with a renaturalized and equipped transition.
