Abstract

La industria 4.0 es una revolución industrial tecnológica que está transformando la forma de operar y trabajar en todo el mundo. La conectividad digital y la inteligencia artificial juegan un papel fundamental, dados de la mano con el concepto de los gemelos digitales. Un gemelo digital es una representación virtual de una realidad física que ha presentado una mejora en auge en la creación de actividades en una gran cantidad de ámbitos de la ingeniería. Mediante los gemelos digitales, se crean modelos matemáticos, digitales y analíticos que permiten conocer el estado en tiempo real de un modelo físico existente o en desarrollo, permitiendo a las organizaciones adaptarse rápidamente a los cambios y maximizar su rendimiento. El objetivo principal de este trabajo es el modelaje y estudio estructural de un montaje del laboratorio de Resistencia de Materiales, basado en la aplicación de los gemelos digitales. De una forma breve, el trabajo consistirá en la realización de un gemelo digital para dos montajes de pórtico. Por un lado, se realizará un gemelo digital para un montaje de un pórtico biempotrado y, por otro lado, para el montaje de un pórtico tipo ménsula. Con esto, se propondrá, de cada uno, su modelado y la creación de su respectivo gemelo digital en una plataforma IoT (Internet of Things), así como el estudio estructural y de comportamiento ante diversas situaciones físicas, con el soporte de varios programas de ingeniería asistida por ordenador.

La indústria 4.0 és una revolució industrial tecnològica que està transformant la forma d'operar i treballar arreu del món. La connectivitat digital i la intel·ligència artificial juguen un paper fonamental, donats de la mà amb el concepte dels bessons digitals. Un bessó digital és una representació virtual d'una realitat física que ha presentat una millora en auge en la creació d'activitats en una gran quantitat d'àmbits de l'enginyeria. Mitjançant els bessons digitals, es creen models matemàtics, digitals i analítics que permeten conèixer l'estat en temps real d'un model físic existent o en desenvolupament, permetent a les organitzacions adaptar-se ràpidament als canvis i maximitzar el seu rendiment. L'objectiu principal d'aquest treball és el modelatge i estudi estructural d'un muntatge del laboratori de Resistència de Materials, basat en l'aplicació dels bessons digitals. D'una forma breu, el treball consistirà en la realització d'un bessó digital per a dos muntatges de pòrtic. D'una banda, es realitzarà un bessó digital per a un muntatge d'un pòrtic biencastat i, d'altra banda, per al muntatge d'un pòrtic tipus mènsula. Amb això, es proposarà, de cadascun, el seu modelatge i la creació del seu respectiu bessó digital en una plataforma IoT (Internet of Things), així com l'estudi estructural i de comportament davant diverses situacions físiques, amb el suport de diversos programes d'enginyeria assistida per ordinador.

Industry 4.0 is a technological industrial revolution that is transforming the way of operating and working worldwide. Digital connectivity and artificial intelligence play a fundamental role, hand in hand with the concept of digital twins. A digital twin is a virtual representation of a physical reality that has shown a significant improvement in creating activities in various engineering fields. Through digital twins, mathematical, digital, and analytical models are created, allowing real-time knowledge of the state of an existing or developing physical model, enabling organizations to quickly adapt to changes and maximize performance. The main objective of this work is the modeling and structural study of an assembly in the Materials Resistance laboratory, based on the application of digital twins. In brief, the work will consist of creating a digital twin for two portal assembly setups. On one hand, a digital twin will be created for a bi-fixed portal assembly, and on the other hand, for a cantilever portal assembly. This will involve modeling and creating their respective digital twins on an Internet of Things (IoT) platform, as well as the structural and behavioral studies under various physical situations, with the support of several computer-aided engineering programs.
