Abstract

In this work, the union between cemented carbides (hard metal) and iron foundries is studied. It starts with test tubes containing both materials. Both the form of union between these and the process in which they were joined are the variables considered in the study, with the aim of being able to determine which is the best configuration. For this reason, a 4-point bending test is carried out and a test developed on a laboratory scale (which is not standardized), which allows us to observe the maximum loads that our test pieces can withstand, organized according to the various configurations they have.
