Transporte de sedimentos en flujo turbulento

Abstract

Se estudiará la relación entre la energía cinética y potencial en los procesos de arrastre de sedimentos debidos a la turbulencia. Se describirán los campos de velocidad y vorticidad de los flujos en la capa limite mediante experimentación en el laboratorio de dinámica de fluidos de la ETSECCPB. Se estudiará el comportamiento del sedimento de distinto tamaño con Turbulencia generada por una corriente de gravedad, por una rejilla o por diversos obstáculos. Se utilizará además el programa Ima_Calc en diversos experimentos para el estudio del comportamiento de la turbulencia. Se realizarán distintos experimentos en un tanque con sedimentos de distinto tamaño con objeto de estudiar su comportamiento, midiendo el tiempo de paso de la corriente de turbidez por unos puntos determinados, y calculando la velocidad y altura de la cabeza de la corriente.
