Anàlisi del comportament dinàmic del conjunt llanta i pneumàtic

Abstract

The present work is based on the study and analysis using Ansys of a 20-inch car rim. The aim of the work is to subject the rim to the different loads for the different study cases considered, perform the fatigue tests according to the regulations and to see if the rim passes all the simulations performed for the selected materials. First of all, a brief introduction about the historical evolution and the future trends of the materials used in rims and tires is shown, and the candidate materials for the analysis of the rim are proposed. Next, the finite element method and the software used, Ansys, are described. The model vehicle for the calculation of the loads to which the rim will be subjected is chosen, and the calculation of all these loads proceeds. With all these loads calculated, the rim is imported into Ansys, the loads are defined and applied, the previous materials considered are defined and the different simulations for the different study cases are performed. With the simulations done, the best two materials for the rim are decided according to different criteria defined previously. With the two materials chosen, the fatigue simulations are performed according to regulations. Finally, a topological analysis is performed in order to redesign the rim and improve the results obtained in the simulations and the redesigned rim is subjected to the different simulations.
