Abstract

In the present work a natural phenomenon affecting the Saldes basin, located in Berguedá, Catalonia, will be studied. The RUSLE equation has been applied using geographic information systems, specifically the QGIS program. The objective is to determine the annual soil loss of the Saldes watershed and the reasons why this natural hazard has affected the Saldes drainage basin.
