Study of the transformation of a stigmatised area of Lisbon: Intendente. Without being a defined district, Intendente has the character of a neighbourhood and its area is delimited by studying its characteristics in two aspects: the urban form and the socio-economic environment. Starting from the Largo do Intendente at the present time, a graphic approach is made by means of photography and a morphological analysis of the urban elements. A look back in the cartography is used to draw up the drawings of the urban transformations. The drawings are used to reconstruct the evolution of the urban layout The testimony is used to reconstruct the evolution of the stigma. In a changing context, Largo do Intendente seems to be an oasis that follows its own times, but can the explanation of its current socio-economic situation be found in the evolution of the urban form of its context?

Estudio de la transformación de una zona estigmatizada de Lisboa: Intendente. Sin ser un distrito definido, Intendente tiene carácter de barrio y su área se delimita estudiando las características en dos aspectos: la forma urbana y el entorno socioeconómico. Partiendo del Largo do Intendente en el momento actual, se realiza una aproximación gráfica por medio de la fotografía y un análisis morfológico de los elementos urbanos. Una mirada hacia atrás en la cartografía histórica sirve para levantar los dibujos de las transformaciones urbanas. Por medio del dibujo, se reconstruye la evolución del tejido. Por medio del testimonio, la evolución del estigma. En un contexto cambiante, El Largo do Intendente parece un oasis que sigue sus propios tempos, pero ¿Se puede encontrar la explicación de su situación socioeconómica actual en la evolución de la forma urbana de su contexto?
