Mesura d'àrees a l'aula

Abstract

Malgrat ser un concepte intuïtiu, com mesurar àrees no és evident. En aquest treball proposem una manera d'introduir aquest problema a alumnes de secundària i una solució versàtil: el planímetre. A tal efecte, presentem formalment els planímetres, les justificacions matemàtiques del seu funcionament i un experiment per validar-los. També fem un repàs històric de la seva aparició i evolució. Amb tot, aquest treball ofereix idees per incloure els planímetres com a complement al contingut de secundària.
