Abstract

The objective of this project is the design and calculation of an industrial building adjacent to an existing one, to house a series of facilities to support it. The main purpose of the industrial building is to solve the various problems that have arisen since the last expansion, which have been further aggravated by the arrival of the pandemic, since the company is dedicated to the food sector, more specifically to the production of flour, semolina and pasta. Two of the problems to be highlighted are the lack of space to store spare parts, which leads to longer downtime for equipment repairs, and the lack of compressed air power, essential for the correct operation of the production lines. The calculations of the structure, the foundations, the determination of the types of structural elements and the joints were carried out using the CYPE architecture, engineering and construction software, always following the regulatory framework of the Technical Building Code (CTE), as well as the regulatory framework of the Structural Concrete Instruction (EHE). The building is designed with an all-metal structure, where the side walls are made of prefabricated concrete panels placed between the column cores and a sloping roof composed of sandwich panels. This entire structure rests on a reinforced concrete slab and a ground improvement consisting of a series of piles. The following document also determines the installation of fire protection and the environmental quality management of the new building. Finally, analysing the installation budget, it is established that the project is below the agreed value and its feasibility is confirmed.

El present projecte té com a objectiu el disseny i càlcul d'una nau industrial adjacent a una ja existent, per a albergar una sèrie d'instal·lacions que serveixin de suport a aquesta. La finalitat principal de la nau és solucionar els diferents problemes que han aparegut des de l'última ampliació, els quals s'han vist més agreujats amb l'arribada de la pandèmia, ja que l'empresa es dedica al sector alimentari, més concretament a la producció de farines, sèmoles i pastes. Dos dels problemes a destacar són la falta d'espai per a emmagatzemar recanvis, la qual cosa provoca unes aturades més llargues a l'hora de reparar els equips, i la falta de força en l'aire comprimit, indispensable per al correcte funcionament de les línies de producció. Els càlculs de l’estructura, la fonamentació, la determinació dels tipus d’elements estructurals i les unions s’han dut a terme mitjançant el programa d’arquitectura, enginyeria i construcció CYPE, seguint sempre el marc normatiu del Codi Tècnic de l'Edificació (CTE).
