Estudi i implantació d'un prototipus de comunicació Li-Fi

Abstract

La il·luminació LED s’ha anat expandint cada vegada més gràcies als seus avantatges, com la versatilitat, l’eficiència o la seguretat, però mai s’havia concebut com un sistema de comunicació. L’origen d’aquest projecte prové d’un estudi que vaig realitzar sobre innovacions en llums LED. La idea que la transmissió de dades es podria aconseguir a través de la llum em va semblar fascinant i vaig decidir que seria l’oportunitat perfecta per conèixer aquesta nova tecnologia i enfortir els meu coneixements en les característiques de la tecnología LED. Light Fidelity és una nova tecnologia que possiblement canviarà el món de les telecomunicacions. Li-Fi és una tecnologia basada en VLC, és un terme que s’utilitza per descriure xarxes d’alta velocitat que utilitzen llum visible per transmetre dades. L’objectiu d’aquest projecte és tenir una visió general de Li-Fi i fer-ne un prototip per comprovar el seu funcionament, en el qual s’intentarà arribar a la màxima velocitat de transmissió
