Abstract

The objective of this Final Study Project is the study of the formulation and resolution of the three-phase load flow for its subsequent application to electrical networks. The methodology used for the resolution is based on optimization algorithms of the equations described in the formulation. Different scenes have been considered in which a real network can be found, that is, in equilibrium and disequilibrium conditions. The results obtained have been a complete success in what is the modelling, formulation and resolution, since the application on an electrical network provided by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) with the final results for a later comparison were satisfactory. This study aims to contribute to other existing load flow studies, because nowadays this information is very useful in studies of safety, stability or planning of electrical networks.
