Abstract

El presente proyecto se fundamenta en la propuesta de realizar un sistema de medida de la masa de piezas de grandes dimensiones que se obtienen mediante una colada continua en la industria siderúrgica. Una necesidad creciente en la automatización y asistencia en los procesos de corte de semi-productos (las palanquillas y / o los Beam Blanks), junto con una mejora significativa de la trazabilidad y calidad productiva, desemboca en el diseño de dos prototipos o sistemas dinámicos de pesaje. El objetivo principal de estos sistemas es proveer a los fabricantes de acero de una herramienta que permita cuantificar la masa de las piezas fabricadas de manera individual con exactitud, robustez y ajustadas para trabajar a diferentes temperaturas. Una fabricación modular y a medida de estos sistemas los convierten en una solución totalmente adaptable a las condiciones existentes en las plantas actuales existentes mejorando significativamente la producción, la calidad y, al mismo tiempo, remitir ahorros económicos y energéticos directos.

El present projecte es fonamenta en la proposta de realitzar un sistema de mesura de la massa de peces de grans dimensions que s’obtenen mitjançant una colada continua a la indústria siderúrgica. Una necessitat creixent en l’automatització i assistència en els processos de tall de semi-productes (les billetes i/o els Beam Blanks), juntament, amb una millora significativa de la traçabilitat i qualitat productiva, desemboca al disseny de dos prototips o sistemes dinàmics de pesatge. L’objectiu principal d’aquests sistemes és proveir als fabricants d’acer d’una eina què permeti quantificar la massa de les peces fabricades de manera individual amb exactitud, robustesa i ajustades per treballar a diferents temperatures. Una fabricació modular i a mida d’aquests sistemes els converteixen en una solució totalment adaptable a les condicions existents a les plantes actuals existents millorant-ne significativament la producció, la qualitat i, al mateix temps, remetre estalvis econòmics i energètics directes.

The present project is based on the proposal to carry out a system for measuring the mass of large parts that are obtained by continuous casting in the steel industry. A growing need for automation and assistance in the cutting processes of semi-products (billets and / or Beam Blanks), together with a significant improvement in traceability and production quality, leads to the design of two prototypes or systems weighing dynamics. The main goal of these systems is to provide steel manufacturers with a tool to quantify the mass of individually manufactured parts accurately, robustly and adjusted to work at different temperatures. Modular and tailor-made manufacturing of these systems makes them a fully adaptable solution to the conditions in existing plants, significantly improving their production, quality and, at the same time, delivering direct economic and energy savings.
