Arquitectura de emergencia: estudio y ejemplificación de sistemas constructivos

Abstract

The research objective focuses on the analysis of three types of buildings constructed in mi-nimum time for different kind of emergency situations . These types of unpredictable events require quick and effective actions to control and minimize the problem complications. We will introduce the topic defining what is an emergency situation and we will enter the emergency architecture and what are the aspects that are required for its execution. We will depeen into the three most suitable typologies to a quick build: in situ vernacular architecture built with proximity materials, prefabricated architecture and modular architecture. The fac-tors that influence an emergency situation will be evaluated when choosing the type that best fits. We will analyze a construction example of each of the three typologies by considering the strategies used by the architects.
