Regionalismo: alternativas latinoamericanas al Movimiento Moderno

Abstract

Regionalism is a divergent latinamerican approach to modern European architecture, which had its bigger impact after the Second World War until the 1970s. This study aims to show the counter-history of its invisibilized (compared to modern architecture) contribution, which values have interest at current times. The return to the cultural roots, the autochthonous material and the traditional techniques is presented as a response to global architecture.
