Aplicación de modularidad a separadores de hidrocarburos y grasas

Abstract

El objetivo general de este proyecto se centra en aplicar modularidad los separadores de hidrocarburos de la multinacional ACO, concretamente en su filial española. Estos depósitos presentan unas dimensiones y volúmenes extraordinarios que los convierten en un reto logístico. Tras sufrir estos inconvenientes durante años, la empresa solicita a la UPC un proyecto de I+D que permita desarrollar una solución viable para dichos productos. Al tratarse de un proyecto de Investigación y Desarrollo, gran parte del mismo está centrada en condensar conocimiento alrededor de materiales, logística, mecánica y otros aspectos de interés. Tras generar una base de conocimiento en la materia lo suficientemente amplio y extraer las conclusiones pertinentes, se plantea un proceso creativo. Este proceso creativo, genera distintas alternativas, que abarcan desde distintas ópticas el mismo problema. Tras la fase intuitiva de diseño, centramos los esfuerzos en las metodologías objetivas (Matriz de Pugh) para seleccionar la opción más viable. Una vez decidida esta opción más favorable, se abre un capítulo puramente técnico en que se confirman o desmienten las intuiciones realizadas durante el proceso creativo. Se aborda la idea inicial desde cuatro ramas diferenciadas de la técnica: estudio de materiales, de resistencia, de costes y logístico. Estos cuatro análisis o estudios trabajan conjuntamente para definir por completo la solución final adoptada y su viabilidad a nivel industrial. Las conclusiones generales del proyecto indican que el objetivo del proyecto: hacer modulares los separadores; es posible
