Antoni Quintana i Marí (1907-1998) i la constitució de la historiografia moderna de la ciència

Abstract

Antoni Quintana i Marí rescatà els papers i els instruments de Martí cap al 1930 i n'organitzà un homenatge a Tarragona el 1932, arran del centenari de la mort de Martí. En la seva iniciació a la història de la ciència, Quintana contactà amb l'Acadèmia Internacional d'Història de la Ciència, constituïda el 1929. Establí contacte amb el seu secretari general, Aldo Mieli, i amb alguns dels membres fundadors, com Hélène Metzger o George Sarton.
