La superconductividad: un potencial muy atractivo

Abstract

La superconductividad es la capacidad que poseen ciertos materiales de presentar una resistencia al paso de la electricidad prácticamente nula en determinadas condiciones. Así, las pérdidas de energía son cercanas a cero, por lo que representa un potencial muy atractivo para las redes de transporte y distribución de energía eléctrica. A continuación se describe el estado del arte de los cables superconductores aplicados a la red de transporte y distribución.
