Interpretació dels resultats mitjançant el Pentacam

Abstract

El tomògraf de càmera Scheimpflug Pentacam és un aparell amb el qual es pot realitzar un estudi acurat de les estructures anteriors oculars com la còrnia, el cristal·lí i la càmera anterior. L’aparell utilitza una tècnica no invasiva que consisteix en l’obtenció, a partir de cinquanta imatges de forma giratòria en dos segons, una imatge tridimensional de l’estructura ocular d’un usuari. L’objectiu d’aquest treball és doble: crear un manual de maneig per als futurs estudiants i que així sigui molt més senzilla la interpretació dels resultats que ens proporcioni el Pentacam. Primerament, s’explicaran els orígens de l’aparell, així com en què consisteix el principi en el qual es basa. Es comentaran els diferents mapes topogràfics que es poden obtenir i com realitzar una correcta interpretació d’aquests: valors de normalitat i valors patològics. Seguidament, s’exposaran els passos a seguir per a un correcte maneig de l’aparell i s’adjuntarà el manual que es podrà trobar en el Centre Universitari de la Visió (CUV). Ens serà d’utilitat conèixer tota la informació que ens pot proporcionar un mateix aparell com aquest per treure-li tot el profit. Perquè això sigui possible és necessària una correcta interpretació
