Estudio de criterios de diseño de suspensiones

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se han explorado diferentes criterios de diseño de sistemas de suspensión de automóvil basándose en la dinámica longitudinal. El objetivo principal del proyecto es dar una idea general de cómo afectan cada uno de los parámetros a un sistema de suspensión en su comportamiento, principalmente de cara al confort. Se ha estudiado como se puede variar la geometría del sistema de suspensión para minimizar los efectos de cabeceo producidos por maniobras de frenado y aceleración. Del mismo modo, se ha estudiado como eliminar y limitar el levantamiento o hundimiento de los ejes en dichas maniobras. También se ha hecho un repaso a las recomendaciones básicas que se deben seguir al diseñar un sistema de suspensión (teniendo en cuenta la dinámica longitudinal). Por último, se ha realizado un estudio utilizando modelos de dinámica longitudinal y simulaciones que definen el comportamiento de un vehículo ante perturbaciones provocadas por la carretera. Se han comparado dos modelos, uno de dos grados de libertad y otro de cuatro grados de libertad. A parte de comparar los modelos se ha realizado una comparativa del comportamiento de un mismo vehículo con diferentes rigideces y coeficientes de amortiguamiento, así como una comparativa de un vehículo tipo pick-up con un vehículo de carácter mucho más deportivo.
