Abstract

Actualmente, la medicina está avanzando a pasos agigantados, con lo que cada día hay más necesidades para abastecer los diferentes ámbitos de esta. Uno de ellos corresponde al ámbito de estudio de la composición corporal que se realiza a través de un análisis de bioimpedancia con la ayuda de equipos especializados para ello. Esto me ha llevado a investigar sobre el tema y a elaborar un firmware con la finalidad de controlar un circuito integrado de gran precisión para el cálculo de impedancias, el AD5933. Para ello se ha utilizado el Arduino UNO, con el cual se ha elaborado un programa donde se lleva a cabo una serie de instrucciones para establecer comunicación con el AD5933 a través de la interfaz I2C. Gracias a este firmware, se podrá controlar el AD5933 a través del Arduino UNO que además con la ayuda de un shield preparado específicamente para ello, se logrará montar un equipo capaz de calcular impedancia bioeléctrica
