Abstract

Con el fin de cuantificar la influencia de la no linealidad del material en el comportamiento a flexión de vigas de acero inoxidable, se lleva a cabo una campaña experimental que consiste en la realización de ensayos de flexión en seis vigas biapoyadas y en seis vigas continuas de dos vanos. Las vigas se instrumentan con transductores de desplazamiento, galgas extensométricas y células de carga para determinar su respuesta estructural. Del análisis de los resultados experimentales se extraen conclusiones relativas a distribuciones de deformaciones y de tensiones. Asimismo, se utiliza un modelo numérico basado en el método de los elementos finitos, para analizar el comportamiento a flexión de las vigas ensayadas. Se comparan los resultados de flechas obtenidos experimentalmente con los resultados derivados del modelo numérico y con los obtenidos utilizando las especificaciones de Eurocódigo 3, Parte 1-4. Finalmente, del análisis comparativo se derivan conclusiones relativas al cálculo de flechas en vigas de acero inoxidable considerando los efectos de la no linealidad del material y de la reducción de sección eficaz debido a los fenómenos de abolladura local.
