Estudio de emisiones de gases contaminantes de un ciclo Otto y propuesta de mejora mediante inyección de hidrógeno

Abstract

En un entorno consciente sobre la contaminación y la baja eficiencia de los motores térmicos, cualquier mejora en estos sistemas de propulsión de vehículos es un gran avance. En este trabajo se pretende estudiar, para posteriormente diseñar y dimensionar, un sensor portátil de medición de CO, así como un sistema de mejora basado en la inyección de hidrógeno. Este sistema dota al motor de una mayor eficiencia y reduce el consumo de combustible, así como la concentración de gases contaminantes que éste emite a la atmósfera. Pero por el contrario también disminuye su potencia. Todos los factores mencionados se van a estudiar a lo largo del trabajo y se va a determinar la certeza de estos para poder llegar a conocer si realmente este sistema es una solución viable para los motores de combustión interna actuales.
