Detección de daños en estructuras mediante técnicas de observabilidad

Abstract

En este artículo se presenta la aplicación de un nuevo método para la detección de daños en estructuras a partir de su respuesta estática. Este método aplica las técnicas de observabilidad para resolver el sistema de ecuaciones que aparece cuando se consideran rigideces desconocidas dentro de la matriz de rigidez de la estructura. Esta aplicación ha permitido desarrollar una potente herramienta para resolver sistemas de ecuaciones polinomiales con múltiples aplicaciones en numerosos campos de la ciencia y la ingeniería. El método de la observabilidad se ha comparado con otros métodos de detección de daños propuestos recientemente en la literatura. Esta comparación muestra las numerosas ventajas de la utilización del método de la observabilidad y recomienda el uso de esta metodología para detección de daños en estructuras.
