Development of sustainability concept lets to the need to go towards an integral and integrated management of different wastes having in common its end use. In the case of organic waste having the objective to be applied to crops and soil, after the appropriate treatment, integrated management can improve quality control of obtained products for agricultural use, can decrease investment and exploitation costs, and can take advantage of the synergetic behaviour showed by some mixtures of different organic waste during composting or anaerobic digestion processes. For anaerobic digestion, appropriate mixtures contribute to improve the process profile, to increase biogas and renewable energy production, to decrease organic volatile compounds emissions and to treat wastes that could present valorisation difficulties separately.
