Definiciones y características del diseño de vestimenta

Abstract

The problem of the act of dressing as a human need support a part of a theoretical construction on clothing design that aims to identify and streamline the design process from a holistic point of view. The main objetive of this article is get insight on the relationship between users, garment as a product and their context. To do so, an analysis of human needs oriented to the act of dressing, is develop from results of completed research, from reflections derived from a work team and from the review of original sources, leading to a set of relationships and essential features in the design of a high-standard innovation garment for a greater quality of life. This personalist approach opens new research ground, especially on the humanization of the garment, the interdisciplinary team work and the use of a more accurate technical lenguaje. Lesults also show an evolution from a fashion system to a aooarel system, what can we capitalize from one system to another? How is the innovation now? Does it come for an integrated desing? All these are object of reflection for both the industry and the academia.
