Abstract

The Navarra route is an essential line of communication between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. The need to amplify the railway system of the region has been indisputable since the seventies. In this article the author gives a brief outline of the studies that have been made and enumerates some of the benefits of a new efficient railway line, from a triple standpoint - inter-regional, national and international.
