The project aim is to describe and analyse the manufacturing process of two main components from an electric motor: the stator and rotor, and from there, improve the current process and tackle the key inefficiencies it has in order to make it shorter and more sustainable. The rotor and stator intended usage is a high spinning electric motor focused on performance, and it ́s configuration, 3 phase AC synchronous permanent magnets brushless electric motor, makes the production of the stator and rotor more demanding than the ones for other applications. The thesis will firstly describe and analyse the actual process, it will detail the possible improvements, and at the end it will conclude how much shorter and efficient the new process could become in case it would be implemented.
