Sistema d'adquisició de potència en bicicletes

Abstract

[ANGLÈS] On high performance sports, each data collected is vital to improve the athlete training and competition quality. Cycling have seen a tiny technological revolution on its own thanks to the power acquisition systems which help to obtain more reliable and objective data about the effort made by the cyclist. These systems have a high market price, that’s the problematic that made this final degree project go on. The main priority in this project is, not copying the other systems available, instead, understanding how they work, which are the necessary components and trying to make a functional prototype that reduces the final cost of the product. The project is based on the incremental prototyping methodology, where every step made starts from the information and data acquired from the last prototype. In the first prototype, the design priorities are exposed and the most viable options are analysed. Various tests are made in every prototype, such general functioning, revolutions per minute and current consumption, to make sure it works as expected and proceed with the next step. This project is thought as an academic recompilation of the basic knowledge acquired over the Engineering degree so the conclusions have the project part, where the product market price can be reduced to around 50€ in a large 1000 u. batch of the last prototype, and the academic part where the methodology described is applied to achieve the project part.
