Control de calidad de las especificaciones de software escritas en lenguaje natural

Abstract

La complejidad creciente de los sistemas informáti­cos. ligada a una evolución muy rápida del hardware, ha originado en la Ingeniería del Software dos problemas importantes: la calidad del software desarrollado y la comnunicación entre los participantes de un mismo proyecto, debido a las dificultades que plantea el uso de lenguaje natural como vehículo de la información técnica. El proyecto LESD (Linguislic Engineering for Software Developmemt) relaciona la Ingeniería Lingüística con la ingeniería del Software. La finalidad de LESD es el de­sarrollo de herramientas informáticas que permitan: a) crear una interpretación conceptual de las especificaciones funcio­nales o preliminares de software espacial en inglés; b) la eva­luación, usando técnicas de Inteligencia Artificial, de la trazabilidad, completitud, consistencia. verificabilidad y modifi­cabilidad como factores principales de la calidad de dichas especificaciones; y e) el control de la calidad de las espe­cificaciones basado en la medición cuantitativa del software.
