Comportamiento elástico del concreto con agregado reciclado

Abstract

Con el fin de participar activamente en la sustentabilidad de la industria de la construcción, se ha propuesto mejorar la durabilidad de las estructuras de concreto y el reemplazo parcial o total de sus componentes por materiales reciclados, de tal modo que sea factible reducir el insostenible impacto que ésta representa en la naturaleza. En el presente estudio se evaluó el comportamiento elástico del concreto fabricado con agregado reciclado. Se sabe que el comportamiento elástico del concreto está íntimamente ligado con las características propias del agregado: forma, tamaño, porosidad, módulo de elasticidad, mineralogía, entre otros. Por ello, es de suponerse que el comportamiento mecánico del concreto con agregado reciclado es diferente al convencional, por tal motivo se estudió el comportamiento elástico que presenta el concreto reciclado por medio del ensayo de frecuencia de resonancia por impacto y del ensayo a compresión en probetas cilíndricas y prismáticas rectangulares
