Desenvolupament d’un procediment per avaluar l’estat de contenidors plàstics de productes químics

Abstract

Actualment, quan és necessària realitzar una avaluació per determinar l’estat de tancs plàstics contenidors de productes químics, la manca d’una normativa comú europea fa que cada empresa realitzi una avaluació pròpia, la qual pot comportar un error en l’avaluació del tanc i que podria desembocar en una falla o fuga perillosa, causant pèrdues mediambientals i econòmiques. L'objectiu d’aquest Projecte Final és desenvolupar un procediment fiable per avaluar l’estat de contenidors plàstics. Per fer-ho, s’han estudiat provetes de quatre materials plàstics que s’utilitzen per a la construcció de plàstics: PP, PE, PRFV, PVDF. En el laboratori, les provetes s’han posat en contacte amb substàncies i condicions de reactivitat extrema, per obtenir resultats en un temps reduït però suficient com per poder avaluar-les, aplicant assajos de verificació qualitativa i quantitativa. Per desenvolupar el procediment, tot el coneixement i els resultats obtinguts en el laboratori s’han aplicat a tancs de plàstics industrials. S’han determinat dos nous mètodes per una correcta inspecció, així com un procediment fiable per avaluar tancs plàstics contenidors de productes químics.
