Abstract

La tribologia és la ciència que estudia la fricció, el desgast i la lubricació de la superfície de materials en contacte, i actualment existeix un gran nombre d’assaigs tribològics estandarditzats per avaluar aquestes propietats. No obstant això, les configuracions d’assaigs estandarditzats es queden obsolets al marge de les aparicions de materials avançats, on l’aplicació industrial comporta sol·licitacions tribo-mecàniques complexes. Aquesta complexitat depèn en gran mesura del parell de materials que estan en contacte i del medi que els envolta. Per això, els objectius d’aquest projecte són: 1) Avaluar la fiabilitat de l’anàlisi de rugositat en superfícies de fractura, específicament en xapes d’acers avançats d’alta resistència mecànica (AHSS per les seves sigles en anglès; Advanced High Strength Steel); i 2) Dissenyar i executar assaigs tribològics destinats a l’avaluació del coeficient de fricció i desgast de xapes d’acer d’alta resistència recobertes amb pintura de protecció que estan en contacte amb potassa.
