Pubblicazione delle ricerche umanistiche in ambiente digitale

Abstract

Il saggio prende in esame il problema della pubblicazione delle ricerche rivolte all'incremento della conoscenza, distinguendo al suo interno quattro diversi aspetti: quello della produzione dell'innovazione; quello della sua trasmissione o diffusione; quello del riconoscimento dell'autorialità della innovazione; e, infine, il conflitto che sembra esistere fra la diffusione e la proprietà dell'innovazione. Risalendo alle origini delle modalità moderne (le riviste scientifiche del XVII-XVIII secolo), si sostiene che le modalità informatiche di diffusione della conoscenza cambiano radicalmente i termini della questione rendendo meno centrale e definitivo il concetto di pubblicazione; ciò sembra rendere possibile (oltre che necessaria) la distinzione fra il riconoscimento dell'autorialità dell'innovazione e la sua proprietà (secondo una modalità peraltro già praticata nella cultura del passato).
