Territorial Cohesion (TC) represents a point of reference for whom deals with theEuropean territorial policies at national, regional and local level. TC – as a strong goal of the programming periods from 2000 today – is the subject of interdisciplinary approaches aimed at overcoming regional disintegration in Europe and making concrete a new idea of multilevel governance. TC has produced a considerable knowledge base, strengthening itself around few keywords: territory, cohesion, sustainable development, place evidence, scenarios, impact assessment and policy, up to a shared definition proposed through the PRIN research (Prezioso, 2018)
