Monitor LCD multitàctil FTIR

Abstract

En aquest projecte, es desenvoluparà la transformació d’un monitor LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) en un monitor multitàctil basat en el sistema FTIR (Frustrated Total Internal Reflection). Es té com a objectiu millorar la interactivitat entre l’usuari i l’ordinador, explorant aquesta nova tècnica de dispositiu tàctil. El projecte esta format per 3 parts diferenciades, la primera és un estudi dels diferents tipus de dispositius tàctils que existeixen al mercat, en aquest capítol es parla tant dels sistemes que només detecten una pulsació alhora, com dels dispositius multitàctils. El següent capítol, tracta d’introduir els fonaments de l’òptica per poder entendre el funcionament d’aquest dispositius, ja que tots ells es basen en l’òptica per poder detectar els contactes. El següent capítol, es mostra com s’ha realitzat el muntatge del dispositiu, es mostren els materials utilitzats i la forma en que s’han muntat tots junts per obtenir la nostra superfície multitàctil. Després de tenir el muntatge completat, es mostra de quina manera s’ha connectat i instal·lat en un ordinador així com els passos que s’han realitzat per calibrar el dispositiu i poder utilitzar-lo de forma correcta. Finalment, s’han aportat noves idees i línies d’investigació, obrint portes a nous projectes per millorar el present i així seguir desenvolupant aquest apassionant sistema tàctil.
