Tecnologías sostenibles para la gestión de residuos en Ventanilla (Lima). Aprovechamiento energético del Biogás

Abstract

Uno de los principales problemas de la sociedad actual es la gestión de la multitud de residuos que se generan. La reducción de los mismos desde el origen resulta una vía ideal para intentar minimizarlos, pero en el caso de los residuos orgánicos prácticas como esta carecen de sentido, de manera que resulta esencial poner en funcionamiento tecnologías que ayuden a minimizar el impacto de estos en la zonas donde los excedentes dificultan notablemente su absorción en el suelo de manera natural. La situación derivada de la generación de residuos, y en concreto de los residuos orgánicos, se agrava si nos referimos a un país en vías de desarrollo, como puede ser el caso de Perú, pero aún es mas grave si nos referimos a la zona del Parque Porcino de Ventanilla, donde la generación de residuos orgánicos es muy elevada y la gestión de los mismos es nula. Para el tratamiento de los residuos orgánicos existe la posibilidad de gestionar mediante digestión anaerobia, por la que se obtienen dos productos valorizables: biogás (combustible) y fertilizante orgánico. Si sumamos estos dos ingredientes y añadimos el factor que supone desarrollar dicha tecnología de manera sostenible y a bajo coste, obtendremos como resultado un proyecto similar a éste, en el que se realiza un estudio de viabilidad de la tecnología de Digestión Anaerobia en el Parque Porcino de Ventanilla (Lima).
