El Benceno en el entorno laboral : caso específico de una gasolinera

Abstract

El presente Trabajo de Fin de Máster tiene como objetivo el estudio del benceno en el entorno laboral y su afectación sobre la salud de los trabajadores. En concreto, pretende abarcar dos líneas principales de estudio. Una primera en la que se ve la toxicología de dicho compuesto, es decir, se identifica y describe la incidencia, severidad y reversibilidad del producto en el organismo. Paralelamente, se estudia su exposición del público en general, más allá del entorno laboral. Además, se busca la correlación entre exposición y cáncer a partir de los distintos estudios realizados y, como aspecto concreto de la Prevención de Riesgos Laborales, se revisan los lugares de trabajo susceptibles de sufrir exposición al benceno. Finalmente, se ha realizado un pequeño muestreo en las instalaciones de la gasolinera de la empresa XX, los resultados del cual se adjuntarán al estudio sobre gasolineras llevado a cabo por un grupo de investigadores del INSHT.
