Ingeniería inversa de una motocicleta clásica

Abstract

El presente proyecto consiste en la realización de la ingeniera inversa de la mítica motocicleta Bultaco Astro, que llego a la cúspide en las competiciones dirt-track de la década de los 70 en Estados Unidos. Esta iniciativa viene impulsada desde la empresa LGN Tech Design, S.L., actualmente la nueva Bultaco Motors, que llegó a un acuerdo con la Escuela Universitaria Superior de Ingeniería Industrial de Barcelona para convertir el proyecto en un trabajo de fin de grado, finalmente compartido por cinco estudiantes. La meta principal del proyecto es la digitalización de la totalidad de los componentes de la motocicleta y la construcción de su modelo tridimensional en un único ensamblaje. Para la digitalización de las piezas se han empleado tres tecnologías diferentes; la medición directa, el uso de un palpador y la digitalización con luz blanca. Con estos procedimientos se han obtenido los datos necesarios para la construcción 3D de todos los componentes usando el programa SolidWorks. En esta memoria se presentan las siguientes piezas: chasis, estribo izquierdo, estribo derecho, guardabarros, carburador, depósito y tubo de escape. Posteriormente se presenta el ensamblaje final de la moto y a continuación se hace un estudio de deformación del chasis. El proyecto finaliza con la impresión 3D de la motocicleta a escala 1/12. La realización de este proyecto es una primera parte de un proyecto ambicioso de Bultaco Motors para volver producir antiguos modelos de Bultaco y adaptarlos a los nuevos tiempos.
