Abstract

En el siguiente Proyecto Final de Grado se estudia una alternativa a las cubiertas convencionales para que sean más sostenibles y por lo tanto tengan un impacto ambiental menor. El objetivo del proyecto es conocer las diferentes cubiertas vegetales que existen actualmente y lo documentado que está el tema. Una vez acabada la fase de análisis y recopilación de los diferentes estudios y técnicas que se aplican actualmente, se ha llevado a la práctica un experimento sobre el forjado de un prototipo de tapia, construido en el patio posterior de la EPSEB, que consiste en la instalación de una cubierta vegetal Cántir en la cual se han desarrollado dos soluciones constructivas diferentes para poder ver cuál de las dos es más efectiva. El Proyecto Final de Grado forma parte de un conjunto de proyectos dirigidos por profesorado del departamento de Construcciones Arquitectónicas II y del Laboratorio de Materiales de la EPSEB, en colaboración con las empresas Casa S-Low, Urbanarbolismo y Tespestar.
