Creación de una plataforma educativa e-learning

Abstract

[CASTELLÀ] Parker Group ha nacido para coger el testigo de Centre d’Estudis Parker, empresa familiar dedicada a la formación ocupacional y de idiomas, y dar un paso adelante hacia la especialización. En este nuevo capítulo que se abre ante nosotros, estamos apostando por llevar adelante cuatro líneas de negocio: Parker Group Consultoría, Parker Group Formación, Parker Group Selección y Parker Group Soluciones. Dadas las líneas de negocio anteriormente mencionadas ha surgido la idea que nos trae a este trabajo de fin de carrera, es decir, la creación de una plataforma educativa e-learning en la que ofrecer formación especializada en el área de marketing digital y e-commerce. Los motivos para hacer esto son varios. 1. Disponer de una plataforma para ofrecer nuestros cursos de manera online. 2. La necesidad de tener dicha plataforma para ofrecer servicios adicionales en Parker Group Soluciones. 3. El mercado de la formación online está en alza y hemos visto necesario posicionarnos en él. Visto lo anterior, los objetivos principales marcados para este TFC han sido: aprendizaje del CMS WordPress, creación de una plataforma e-learning a través de dicho CMS, aprendizaje del programa Camtasia con el cuál crearemos los cursos y finalmente integración de los mismos en la plataforma. El proceso para alcanzar los distintos objetivos ha empezado con un estudio previo para aprender el programa Camtasia Studio y conocer distintos aspectos del CMS WordPress, que han sido muy útiles a la hora de implementar la plataforma educativa e-learning. En la fase de implementación se ha empezado por la creación de los cursos con Camtasia con un proceso bastante elaborado que explicaremos en la memoria y anexos, para seguidamente crear la plataforma e-learning con el CMS WordPress. Finalmente se han integrado los cursos creados en la plataforma comprobando que funcionan perfectamente. Dicho esto, puedo concluir que se ha podido conseguir realizar los objetivos principales marcados desde el inicio.

[ENGLISH] Parker Group has been created to continue the work of the Parker Study Centre, a family business dedicated to occupational training and languages, and make progress towards specialization. In this new chapter that we are opening, we are opting to follow four business strategies: Parker Group Consulting, Parker Group Training, Parker Group Selection and Parker Group Solutions. Given the business strategies mentioned previously, the idea that we bring to this final course project is the creation of an educational e-learning platform in which we offer specialized training in digital marketing and e-commerce. There are various motives for this: 1. To have a platform in which to offer our courses online. 2. The necessity for this platform to allow us to offer additional services through Parker Group Solutions. 3. The online training market is growing and we have considered it necessary to join it. In view of the above, the principle objectives of this final course project have been: to learn the WordPress CMS, to create an e-learning platform using the CMS, to learn the Camtasia Studio program with which to create the courses and finally, integrate them into the e-learning platform. The process of achieving the distinctive objectives started with a previous study of the Camtasia Studio program and becoming acquainted with the WordPress CMS, which have been very helpful in implementing the e-learning education platform. In the implementation phase, we started with the creation of the courses using Camtasia in quite an elaborated process, which we will explain in the report and annexes, and then following on with the creation of the platform with the WordPress CMS. Finally, the courses have been integrated into the platform and checked to ensure their correct functioning. This said, we can conclude that we have been able to meet the objectives from the beginning.
