Ensayos triaxiales de rocas en celula de gran capacidad

Abstract

El trabajo realizado en esta tesina se centra en la realización de una serie de ensayos a probetas de roca para poder determinar sus características mecánicas principales. Se realizan ensayos destinados a estudiar los fenómenos de fractura en el campo de lo smateriales cuasi-frágiles, ensayo Wedge Splitting Test. Adicionalmente en esta tesina serealizarán ensayos de compresión, tanto compresión simple como compresión triaxial en una celda de confinamiento de alta capacidad utilizando una prensa Instron de 2000kN de carga máxima. El presente trabajo incluye una serie de reparaciones y adecuaciones de la celda triaxial que inicialmente no está en condiciones de realizar ensayos. Uno de los objetivos de esta tesina es la completa reparación de la celda triaxial así como de los componentes necesarios para la correcta realización de ensayos triaxiales.
