Abstract

Actualment hi han molts de projectes destinats a la investigació i la cura de les malalties visuals. Tots ells, son molt ambiciosos i duts a terme per persones de molta projecció i trajectòria però n’hi ha molt pocs que fan servir l’ús de la tecnologia actual per buscar solucions a aquest tipus de malaltia. Aquest projecte no pretén ni tampoc pot ser una solució o una cura, però si una ajuda per a que les persones amb una deficiència visual o amb problemes de desorientació a causa de la edat, puguin ser guiades automàticament en els entorns pels que usualment es desplacen. Tot el procés vindrà controlat i gestionat per un microcontrolador PIC que s’encarregarà de guiar a l’usuari mitjançant senyals acústiques. Les ordres seran introduïdes al sistema per un control remot basat en un codificador de quatre bits on es farà la selecció de la sala on es vol anar. La comunicació entre el control remot i el PIC serà via radiofreqüència.
