In this Thesis work an analysis has been carried out about the subject 'Enginyeria de RF' which is included in the curriculum of the 'Grado in Ingeniería de Sistemas de Comunicación of the Escola d'Enginyeria de Telecomunicació i Aeroespacial de Castelldefels. This subject is based on Project Based Learning Strategies and therefore it is structured around practical topics which use the Advanced Design System software and the radiofrecuency measurement equipment available in the school laboratories, in which it is worth highlighting the Vectorial Network Analyzer Anritsu MS2034B, and the printed circuit board (PCB) fabrication facilities. A set of practical topics have been identified with pedagogical value for the subject among which two fundamental ones have been selected for a more detailed and comprehensive description and development. The first one is oriented to find a proper way of characterizing a component which is welded into a fixture board, and those, to be able to compare VNA measures whit ADS simulations. The second practical topic selected has been the design of PCB amplifiers.
