Programación de videojuegos con microcontrolador

Abstract

Aquest document conté el disseny d’un videojoc propi dels anys 70, utilitzant tecnologia actual. En concret s’ha dut a terme el disseny, tant del hardware com del software, d’un videojoc anomenat Deadly Pong, inspirat en un dels grans èxits que van sorgir en aquella època i que tothom coneix, el Pong. El videojoc consisteix en controlar una pala per impedir que la pilota passi del nostre terreny, fent-nos perdre. A mesura que es progressa en la partida, es va avançant de nivell, amb el conseqüent augment de dificultat. El videojoc té un total de cinc nivells, i guanyarem si aconseguim passar-los tots. La novetat d’aquesta videoconsola envers les de fa 40 anys, és que s’ha implementat utilitzant la tecnologia dels microcontroladors, que és de les més utilitzades actualment en el món de l’electrònica. En concret del control s’encarrega un microcontrolador PIC, les ordres s’introdueixen mitjançant un comandament format per polsadors, de la visualització s’encarrega un LCD gràfic de 128x64 punts, i la música es reproduïda amb un petit altaveu. Aquest disseny és un bon punt de partida per desenvolupar videojocs de més complexitat utilitzant aquesta tecnologia.
