Abstract

Els Mercats de Barcelona són una mostra de l’arquitectura de la nostra ciutat. S’han adaptat als moviments arquitectònics de cada època deixant-nos una mostra latent de les formes de projectar, dels materials, de les solucions constructives... El Mercat de Galvany és una mostra gairebé intacta de l’arquitectura moderna de Barcelona que tants edificis memorables ha aportat a la història viva de la nostra ciutat. Entrar en aquest mercat és com viatjar en el temps, i viure una situació tant quotidiana com anar a comprar al mercat a principi del segle XX.
