Bases de dades basades en columnes

Abstract

L'objectiu d'aquest projecte és entendre què son les bases de dades basades en columnes, per a què serveixen i per a què no, quins son els seus punts forts i quins els seus punts febles. Per a fer-ho primer es posen en context amb els sistemes de bases de dades relacionals, després s'analitzen dos sistemes orientats a columnes HBase i Cassandra, i per últim es fan dos casos pràctics per posar en pràctica els coneixements adquirits.
