Abstract

El propòsit d'aquest projecte és dissenyar i implementar un petit prototip de robot mòbil controlat per ordinador, el qual ha de ser capaç de respondre a les ordres provinents d'un ordinador que mitjançant USB es transmetran sense fils. El robot, al mateix, ha d'incorporar un petit mòdul amb una càmera de visió artificial la qual permetrà a l'usuari del robot veure el que es troba davant d'ell, al mateix temps que ho controla. La tecnologia sense fils utilitzada ha estat el protocol de comunicacions Zigbee ja que és compatible amb pràcticament qualsevol muntatge i també perquè ha suposat un repte l’aprenentatge i implementació de la comunicació amb aquests dispositius. Finalment, l'entorn de desenvolupament dissenyat per a interactuar amb l'usuari s'ha realitzat mitjançant LabVIEW per diversos motius: · Actualment, és un entorn de desenvolupament molt potent amb infinitat d'aplicacions en el món real. · És un programari molt emprat tant per programadors com per analistes de sistema, existeixen multitud d'exemples i ajudes. · Permet als projectistes connectar per USB i realitzar una connexió bidireccional d'alta velocitat.
