Abstract

Se ha estudiado la adsorción de triazinas (atrazina, simazina, propazina y terbutilazina) en experimentos batch para estudiar el comportamiento y eliminación de estos compuestos en agua subterránea Se diseñado y realizado el experimento de seguimiento de la cinética de adsorción de las cuatro triazinas en agua a 2 mg/l en 2 tipos de experimentos duplicados con carbón activado y mezclas de carbón activado al 2% en carbonato de calcio. Se diseñado y realizado el experimento de equilibrio de adsorción (890 h) de cuatro triazinas en agua con diversos niveles iniciales (0,2-0,4-1-2 y 5 mg/l) en experimentos con carbón activado y mezclas de carbón activado al 2% en carbonato de calcio. Incluyendo el desarrollo de un método HPLC capaz de realizar el seguimiento. Se ha realizado una simulación teórica sobre la remediación de un vertido continuo de 2 mg/l de atrazina en agua subterránea en el estacionario suponiendo advección, dispersión y una adsorción lineal (tipo Henry) y tres tipos de materiales (Creta gris, carbón activado puro, mezcla de carbón activado+ carbonato cálcico). A partir de este estudio se ha visto que los mecanismos de porción de carbón activado con carbonato de calcio, podrían ser usados para diseñar nuevos materiales que promuevan la eliminación de las triazinas., ya que se comportan que igual que el carbón activado en el equilibrio, pero son más económicos que el carbón activo al 100% y permiten promover la bioestimulación de microorganismos con un diseño adecuado del material.
