Abstract

La simulación numérica del conformado responde a un análisis altamente no lineal en el que se combinan aspectos generales de la modelización del sólido deformable, como son elastoplasticidad, grandes deformaciones y contacto. Su resolución aproximada mediante técnicas de elementos finitos requiere un gran esfuerzo computacional contradictorio con la interactividad requerida en la aplicación industrial. En esta parte primera se describen los elementos principales de la formulación, incidiendo en la caracterización matemática y ein los algoritmos numéricos asociados con su aproximación en el marco incremental iterativo del análisis no lineal, concluyendo con los resultados obtenidos en simulaciones de laminación plana en caliente. La segunda parte está dedicada al análisis de la eficiencia computacional y a la presentación de los métodos desarrollados y los resultados obtenidos.

The numerical simulation of metal forming processes follows a highly non linear analysis where general aspects as elastoplasticity, finite deformation and contact mechanics are combined. Approximated solutions obtained by finite element techniques require strong computational effort, that contradicts the need of interactive industrial applications. The first part of the work deals with the description of the main elements of the formulation, withattention to mathematical modelling and the approximating algorithms in the incremental iterative frame of non linear analysis, ending with the results obtained in hot rolling simulation. The second part is dedicated to computational efficiency analysis and the presentation of the related methods and results obtained in this work.
