Presentamos diversas aplicaciones de los juegos cooperativos y del valor de Shapley al contexto empresarial. Entre ellas destacamos el reparto de costes o beneficios. En el texto se describe el marco axiomático propuesto por Shapley y se estudian propiedades del valor. También se muestra la utilidad de los juegos simples para describir y analizar los sistemas de decisión colectiva por votación. Muchos de estos sistemas son representables como juegos de mayoría ponderada, una clase especial de juegos simples. Uno de los problemas más interesantes en este caso es la definición de una medida de la distribución de poder entre los agentes involucrados en el sistema. Este problema recibe una solución satisfactoria mediante el índice de poder de Shapley–Shubik, que es la restricción del valor de Shapley a los juegos simples.

We show several applications of the cooperative game theory and the Shapley value to business activities. Among them we emphasize on the sharing of costs or profits. In the theoretical part, the axiomatic setting proposed by Shapley is described and the properties of the value are studied. It is also shown the usefulness of simple games to describe and analyze collective decision systems ruled by voting. Many of these systems admit a representation as weighted majority games, a class of simple games. One of the most interesting problems in this case is to define a measure of the power distribution among the agents involved in the system. This problem receives a nice solution by means of the Shapley–Shubik index of power, which is the restriction of the Shapley value to simple games.
